Also on Sunday, H participated in a promotion ceremony with her Karate class. About sixteen students, age 6 to ~15. H had to perform movements solo before a panel of four adult black belts. She executed her routine with great poise, balance, concentration and precision. I was taken aback at how composed she was, and how well she did. Her teacher has a wonderful manner as well. Many other standouts among the others in the class. H was awarded a yellow belt at the finish.
