Notes from a train

It's evening here, somewhere between New London and Boston on the Acela train. This really is a civilized way to travel. Views of the Atltantic coastline, at times in sun, sometimes some fog a little bit offshore, and four hours in a quiet cabin with time to think and catch up on unfinished tasks. The views make me itch to explore on a bicycle. Spoke to Papi by cell phone and heard about all the work he'd accomplished today outdoors at Tiverton.
